THIS FRIDAY – 25 FEB The NICEBOTS project was a one-month long open studio exhibit, showcasing the construction and design of interactive robots. Artist/Engineer Daniel Hirschmann reports on this tale of wonderment, anguish and excitement. From the mighty beginnings of an idea to the incredible suffering inflicted by budget limitations… The Nicebots are a fleet of robots, designed in New York and constructed in the museum of contemporary art in Nice (MAMAC). During the course of the 6 week open studio exhibition, the Nicebots were built and given personality to ensure playful, affectionate and exciting interaction with museum goers!
